Whilst researching kit cars I came across a kit car in the flesh that I wanted above all others. The car I saw was this R6 pictured below (Picture stolen from Neil Wain's web site - Hope he doesn't mind!). It is a shame that I couldn't afford for it to be identical - I especially would have liked a brand new engine. In my search for the ideal kit car I read the magazines, visted factories and searched the web. The car I wanted was a Lotus seven replica - a replica which was relatively easy for the first time builder due to the it's simplicity. I needed a reasonably large company, excellent service and help, good location and a good price. It became clear early on whilst trawling the web that Tiger had superb service. Whilst the kits were far from perfect the service to help finish them was excellent. This added to the fact that the kits were not difficult to complete warranted a visit to Tiger. |

Based on the outskirts of Peterborough the factory is only an hours drive from home. This was a major plus point for the sourcing of my car. I found the family running the business extremely helpful and I discovered the best looking Lotus seven replica going on my visit to the Tiger factory. Knowing that Tiger have very competitve pricing I made my mind up and parted with my wonga (Deposit money). |
