"Preparation The chassis is supplied fully welded and galvanised with all the fixing holes pre-drilled. The first job was to seal all the seams to stop any water from getting in to the car. The recommended sealant is Pur-flex this forms a good seal without hardening so as to not crack. Fuel Two pipes are clipped down the side of the chassis from the engine bay to the rear nearside wheel where I fitted the filter and the pump the pipes then feed through the chassis up into the boot and connected to the fixed pipe outlets on the tank." |
